What do we mean by disability?
Disability is a broad term that refers to long-term physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory impairments which, in interaction with various barriers, may hinder full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others. This includes visible and invisible conditions, and experiences can vary widely from person to person.
Sutherland Shire Council is conducting research to inform its new Disability Inclusion Action Plan—and we want to hear from you. Your insights will help shape a more inclusive, accessible community for everyone.
We’ve created a series of short surveys tailored to different perspectives. Please select the one that best matches your role or experience. If more than one category applies, you’re welcome to return and complete additional surveys afterward.
