CommunitiesThrive® Scorecard – Demo

Embrace the future of data interpretation with our AI-enhanced, patent-pending Scorecards.

These tools seamlessly blend comprehensive data visualisation techniques, like bar charts and heat maps, with powerful statistical analyses, providing unparalleled clarity in understanding community data. Standout features include AI-generated comment summaries for swift feedback overview and AI-driven actionable recommendations, offering targeted strategies from community insights.

For a glimpse of our capabilities, consider the sample data from the fictional Mallacoota Regional Council. Our Scorecards not only present data but also illuminate genuine community needs, setting the gold standard for evidence-based decision-making and Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R).

In essence, our Scorecards are more than just tools; they're a revolution in data-driven decision-making. Experience this transformative power by scheduling a consultation with our team today.

  2. “Cohen’s d (d)”: A measure of effect size used to assess the magnitude of the difference between two groups or variables.
  3. “Mean (x̄)”: The average of a set of values, calculated by adding up all the values and dividing by the total count.
  4. “Sample size (n)”: The number of observations or data points, which influences the power of statistical tests and the precision of estimates.
  5. “P value (p)”: The probability of observing a result as extreme as, or more extreme than, the data, assuming there is a difference between the two groups.
  6. “Percentage difference (%Δ)”: A measure used to describe the relative difference between two values as a percentage of their average.
  7. “Standard deviation (s)”: A measure of the amount of variation or spread in a dataset, with larger values indicating more variability and smaller values indicating less variability.

House owners don’t get help when harrassed their neighbour! There is a big gap! When my car was stolen, the Police will help, but not when you neighbour makes life miserable & stressful!Eastwood Point73 Mar 2021
I would have liked more questions to be aged specific eg elderly residents – a better footpaths, parking for elderly Suggestion – that the refuse facility charge a small fee and load trailers with mulch for elderly people who are unable to load trailers themselves I would strongly urge council to reconsider the blank refusal to allow locals to walk dogs unleashed from Sandcastles beach entrance prior to 8 am as was allowed for many years. Surf club entrance is almost impossible for elderly to access Dune Ridge63 Mar 2021
i would just like to add that there is a structural problem with the council in our area. the state development area and the port area are not under council control. that means that some of the bigger influences on our economy and our environment are not dealt with democratically. so the coordinator genereal who runs the state development areas is not an elected official and neither is the head of the port cooperation. there is a hole.Blue Gum Grove326 Oct 2020

Towers are bad – poor reception. Can’t get help and assistance in regards to health assistance especially for older people – this called had a bad back. feel left out from council – all activities shut down because the toilets not up to standard. Mystic Sands025 Oct 2020
my opinions are people who pay rates should have a choice of 2 votes to those who rent because the people who pay rates are paying for it. Willow Vale425 Oct 2020

Very dissatisfied with the current Council and staff. They are not willing to communicate on a face to face basis and completely dissregard any requests. Also if you try to phone in, you have to wait at least 20 minutes before any response, and usually this is a “pass the buck” response any how.Wattle Grove225 Oct 2020

Council meeting and wanted to ask a question that was a yes and no answer, and there were lots of regulations about who I had to pose a question to and had to ask the question a week before. I would like to turn up and have question time that is kept to 5 minutes and then move on. 5 minutes includes question and answer. Also want this rotating question time and the day and time. The developers – developing a whole new housing estate and only one entrance in and out – need to have more entrances for safety sake. Doesn’t have to be a big flashy bridge just a concrete cause way. One thing that is very good is the cemetery – Redwood Glen cemetery 11/10. Excellent job at maintaining that. A piece of paper all over town. So people who don’t have internet access can stay informed. Ironbark Vale424 Oct 2020

Council services are quite good to the extent that we are overserviced. Rate cost reduction needs to be a critical focus for the council, I feel gcc rates is at a level where it is discouraging growth for the area. More than happy to have across the board service reduction to achieve this outcome. My rate cost is $67 per week which is simply irresponsible on the councils behalf. Just to put this in perspective With no further increases I will spend $35000 on rates in the next ten years. Cedar Vale224 Oct 2020

Cranky about the cats in time. They are everywhere in the gutters and moving around at night. Need to crack down on cats at night because they are not allowed out and they are a hazard and they are disruptive.Blue Gum Grove623 Oct 2020
Start assisting the older rate payers with the local golf clubs that are not supported by a wealthy club Some of these people have worked all their life in Redwood Glen and paid rates and get no support from councilBlue Gum Grove323 Oct 2020
Hope I didn’t sound too negative but overall the council and local government and federal government are doing a great job, we’re lucky we live in Australia Cedar Vale823 Oct 2020
i much preferred when we had our own council in Sunset Park as it was a closer community than when we joined with Redwood Glen. i am still happy with Redwood Glen council but preferred it before they joined.Sunset Park523 Oct 2020
Do what they have to do.Sunset Park523 Oct 2020
When the council does the new suburbs like the one i am in parksville need to plan it better for access – only have one in and out road and can walk to the woolworths quicker than I can drive there – there were supposed to be two entrances and the council never finished it. Major picks up as well – where people dump their big items on the street and then the council comes and picks it up – we need to do it again – lot of old car bodies and illegal dumping. Need more roads between suburbs to improved accessibility in between suburbs as well. Saves people times. Also need to plan their streets better. Streets are too narrow. Just deal with your dear as poison rates, rework and unnecessary spending. Seek more support from local big business, and if the owners of the lightbox want to own some more restaurants maybe don’t make it so obvious your going to allow them to hold such a large market share of the region. Secondly, you development application fees for small businesses is pure criminal. Will council publish the results of this survey?Kangaroo Island430 Sep 2020
Yes but where to start. Overall I think there is way too much money being spent on areas that are required but are not criticism or priorities to our town and needs. The council needs to firstly and foremost tend to the management and maintenance of its current services; ensuring the highest level of professionalism, managed cost control/expenditure and skill sets used, while constant management & review of contractor performance and compliance of contractural terms. Redwood Glen has been a great place to live over the last 40-50 years but last 5-10 years has been a huge decline in the community spirit, the loss of respect, support and engagement of locals (true locals, not these transient workers or government supported unemployed persons), the loss of care and love of our outdoors lifestyles, our surrounds and environment. Redwood Glen has lost its identity, it’s idealism and worth of what it use to be. I know Matt Burnett would relate and so too the Butcher Boys. What happened; why the loss of identity, why is it about money and putting bums in houses to fulfil the over supply of housing and having people come in and take locals jobs. How does the council support and identify with true locals, the ones who have provided its blood, sweat and tears! Mallacoota030 Sep 2020

GRC need to do a complete overhaul on the culture that exists within its workforce. To many rights with no responsibilities. My observations see a productivity level of around 40%. To much money wasted in compliance. People in positions of power unable or unwilling to make decisions so they employ over-payed under experienced consultants so that if the decisions is incorrect they can say that we took the advice of an expert. GRC have long term employees and there are many long term residents that could give the correct advice that comes from EXPERIENCE not a degree. This is after all a business and should be run as one. Since being forced to join Redwood Glen, our children and grandchildren wait in the dust or mud for the school bus. Yours have bikeways and every other facilities you can give them to get votes from their parents. I use the Bundaberg library and shopping facilities. If I thought you were half interested in us out here, I would be most surprised. Gulfstream Rise024 Sep 2020
Since I had contact with the GRC some years ago I have lost all belief, trust and confidence in any level of government (either local, state or federal) and there is zero likelihood I will ever regain it. The GRC is an organistation based almost entirely on giving excuses to do nothing, and an organisation with zero dependability and reliability.Dune Ridge424 Sep 2020

Direct email about why the Tannum pool has not started, why no fenced dog parks in Boyne Tannum, why we have to put up with bats. Why we have to collect a permit to go on lillies beach after living here for 40 years why we have to pay dog permits could all be included in rates this council only cares for Redwood Glen let’s look at spending in the areas of high rates areas. No person not paying rates should have a say in the community over those slugged by high rates but have no say, why no council meeting in Boyne Tannum, not waiting in Redwood Glen only to hear unresolved issues. The Main Street looks like a ghost town with empty shops yet spending goes on. The youth in Boyne Tannum scream out for a pool but goes on deaf ears. The council is a joke one that breeds contempt.Cedar Vale423 Sep 2020

Redwood Glen Regional Council should be a Council with divisional representation. Redwood Glen does not relate at all to this area as the closest main town is Bundaberg where we can obtain medical hospital and all other amenities. please look at the pressure these towns are under with sudden growth. Let’s aim to identify why we are unique, why people come here and protect those. Let’s look at not doing the standard response when something is triggered, such as increase parking in a narrow, one way street in Dune Ridge main beach area. What about instead having a free bike scheme, having supplemented bus shuttle ervices from key points to the beach and 1770. Increase access through green, soft approaches instead of changing the low key, village atmosphere. Don’t enable dense building on our hills like you would find at Airlie and while retirement villages are probably needed, we also don’t need to morph into Hervey Bay – not attractive to drive into at all. Harvest Ridge223 Sep 2020
The council has to remember that they are the representatives of the community and in all their decisions the first questions to themselves should be,(1) Would the community want this, (2) What is the cost to the rate payer, (3) What are the benefits for the community and what is the return on equity for the rate payer. Cedar Vale023 Sep 2020

There is a large generation of people approaching retirement. In the past it has been the trend to sell up and move to areas with better support and facilities. This generation who have mostly worked in industry, will have a lot of money from their super to put back into the community. To keep them here we need to make the place more user friendly by approving gated communities in nice areas like Cedar Vale. Not areas where the residents do not have easy access to shops, golf courses, beaches, boat ramps and cafes. Sorry, but Springfield Hills Street or Phillip Street are not attractive options. I think encouraging retired people to sell and downsize to a nice option, opens the market for good size family homes with pools and sheds to young families who we should be encouraging to move into the down, like health professionals. Has the council surveyed the schools lately? Their numbers have dropped dramatically as well.Cedar Vale721 Sep 2020
